Strange things happening at my house..

I've just noticed this afternoon that my Ansellia africana var alba is producing a keiki right on top of one of its leafless pbs. I've not heard or seen this before. I had noticed that it was starting to grow leaves out of the top of this pb which looked strange, but today I noticed roots.

This plant is in the sun all day, gets watered 4-5 times a week, is throughly pot bound, potted in a 6" clay orchid pot and fertilized with osmocoat (sp?).

As promised here is a pic of the Epicatt. in bloom! It sprouted out a lot of new growths but only one bloom I think the low winter light levels are to blame...

Edit: Btw. to me it looks like a cross between Bc. Maikai and some yellow epidendrum.. Any other guesses are appreciated

It has a honey-like daytime fragrance, but not something that fills the room or anything - you have to stick your nose right up to it - and I do

I like the plant to BD, itø's a very compact grower, and buts out alot of new growth all the time
