    Default Miltoniopsis Martin Orenstein 'Shirley P'

    My healthiest milt by far. It blooms twice a year. Four more spikes coming nicely along. This monster is in a 10" pot in pure spag and seems to be the happiest of all the milts I grow. Smell is nice, rosy and spicy!

    Question

    I just repotted my colminara, but I put mine in charcoal. Should I have done the spag with mine too? I thought they liked it dry?? Eek!

    Thanks, guys!

    Connie...your colmanara will probably love charcoal in humid Florida. It's the Miltoniopsis that like it moist. The intergenerics will do fine in almost anything if watering is done by what the media and the plant call for.

    Phew, thanks. I had an oncid die from being too wet, thats why i tried the charcoal this time.
