Nice colour on that one, Lynda. Good growing.

Is it just me or are more and more people backlighting their blooms with sunlight?

Thanks! Backlighting happens a lot in my pics--I guess it inspires me and makes me want to snap a picture. No fancy photo sessions for me! LOL

Lynda that is funny that we both have a piece of the same plant...small world... I too put mine in S/H and bloomed it last year. I just checked mine a few days ago and there was no signs of spiking. but I have 2 growths that should spike this year. Here is the pic of my blooming from last year.

Edit. FYI, multifloral is usually a term not used with Phrags. Offhand I can't think of any Phrag that blooms only with one flower. With slippers it is a term used with Paphs.

Hey, good info Ron; I appreciate learning something new--and that does make sense, too. Love your picture--obviously IS from the same plant. Bet it likes your GH better than my dry, sunny living room

Oops--I just realized that this means that I still have not bloomed a multifloral yet. Patience, Lynda!
