Default paph malipoense and lost root

hi everyone. i was doing a little repotting today and treated this one a little too roughly. it had two really beautiful roots (notice the tense on that?). the remaining root is super thick (a few millimeters skinnier than a number 2 pencil) and about 3.5 inches long. there is also a new root-let forming at the base of the plant that is about 4 mm.

heres the question: do i need to treat this guy with extra tlc? any added humidity? should i put it in a little baggie? or will the seedling be ok?

    thanks for the help!

oh, yeah....i didnt mention that i checked for rot and all, and all is well. it was just me being a brute that did it.

If it still has a viable root with more on the way, I'd just keep it shadier and if you can, a little more humid. i.e. if you have a humidifier, closer to it. I wouldn't stick it in a bag--that's more for the rootless.

as brittle as parvi roots can be, *brachy* roots take the cake. you have to have a real pair of soft hands when potting brachys. people have killed big mature plants because all the fat healthy roots broke off at the base.
