P. Golden Poeker 'BL' x Snow Leopard

This is the first bloom from a flask I got just over a year ago. The petals are a little more "lettuce leaf" edged than I'd like, but the color is really nice. It looks white in the photo, but at least for now the tips and edges are a light green. We'll see how the rest from the flask turn out.

Those darker areas on the harlequin bloches really give it dimension!

Yeah -- this one was really quick, but it is because the plants were huge in the flask. Instead of the inch or two leaf span, some of these guys had like 4 inch leaf spans in the flask. (They'd been in there a little too long ) Anyway, so yes it was quick, but it wasn't due to my spectacular growing skills--they were just big fellas when I started. And this guy was one of the biggest. I'm hoping that old adage about the biggest plants producing poorer flowers is true. Some of the smaller guys from the flask I'll probably have to wait until next year to see them bloom as they aren't even in spike.
