I suspect that the species you have is cuculatta. Cuculata is a smaller plant 6-8" tall, flower spike 4" high, single flower on a spike, petal span 3-3.5", solid green leaves. Does that description match your plant? Here is a pic of my cuculatta. I have seen ones with darker lip like yours.
