I'm jealous ... i have one but desperate to get flower , just a drying sheath ...

btw, when do you see/get spike ? after sheath drying out or while sheath is in good shape ?
if it's after sheath drying out , then how long after do you see spike coming out ?

Hi T,

if you are getting sheath that's a good sign! Even if it doesn't do anything this year, it is getting close to being mature. Most likely next year it's going to flower.
The sheaths come out in the Fall and then sit and do nothing until February. They were drying up on the top and kind of a straw color, when the buds inside them started growing.

my blc have 2 sheaths They came out around november, now they start drying..(brown color ....and almost transparent ..) but I see nothing in it yet ...sigh ....
