How to divide/repot this thing?

I found a 10" pot and repot it! It was such a hard work and painful experience because 5 new growth were broken off during the process even though I was very careful. It's so heavy I had to pull the leaf to hold and move it around, feel like dragging a kid by pulling the hair:-(
I still had to cut off 3 divisions from the edge to fit it in the new pot. Now, I have four plants, one big, 3 small ones. Each small one has 3-4 canes and at least one new growth, hope they will be OK.

They look good. Even the "small" divisions are a good size with very good root systems.
With roots like that, it is unlikely that the divisions would experience any transplant shock.

I cannot tell from the picture, but it looks like there are some dead roots in the bigger plant. Were you able to remove them prior to repotting?

Thank you! You guys are great help! And it's comforting to know that divisions will do well on their own.
On the big plant, the roots were so tight together, I tried to get some dead roots out, but wasn't very successful. Since I broke several new growth already, I didn't want to do further damage. So the whole plant in picture was repotted in to 10" pot.
Look back I should have repotted it in 12" pot so I don't have to do this again for a couple of years.
