So, the Texas equivalent would be Paph. Dallas 'Fort Worth' *GRIN*

I was born in the Bay Area at Stanford hospital in Palo Alto - the next city is Menlo Park where I grew up, and the next city is Atherton. We used to drive through San Leandro on are way over to the valley - with the windows rolled up and the doors locked!!! LOL Now it is full of tract houses and business parks.

gotsomerice - if you ever get tired of that beauty send it off to ME . I have two week spots - anything orange and complex (Bulldog) paphs. (Not to mention dark chocolate, fine red wine. old port, pretty jewellry, etc.....)

Nice bulldog, hard to find a good green (all I ever find are spotty red ones).... and interesting geography lesson Diane. talking of which, (chicken or the egg question) was Menlo Park named after the transport company or vice versa? I used to work for the transport company prior to my current workplace. oh, sorry for the hi-jack gotsomerice.

Actually, it was named after the famous Menlo Park where either Thomas Edison or Alexander Bell lived....

I like the old time complexes although I know flat and round are in but I much rather have the older ones that look like Paphs.

This is Paph Rosy Dawn, a complex that was registered in 1935



Another complex I love that was also registered in 1935 is Paph Sunset 'Alpha'
