hope it's ok, but I thought I'd do up a new thread to show this plant in it's glory... except I dropped it today whilst taking the photos and had to repot it... hope the shock doesn't kill it!

OK, maybe I've spent too many hours in the emergency room and my brain is a bit burned out just now, but what did I miss??????? Paph + Tim = philippinense????? What did I miss ..... where am I???? Lost in the GH, again??????? Somebody throw me a life line....save me...pleeeease

Howard... my favourite orchids are the Paphs and in particular is the species Paph philippinense... to the point where I have a fair amount of my collection being various clones of that species or hybrids directly derived from it.

with this current plant being shown, there isn't any philippinense in it at all, but as Hoa said, it's a PEOY.. so yes, I couldn't resist not having at least one.

ps. my avatar is actually a composite of my headshot and a paph philippinense created by one of our members Lynda (Mehera), who by the way also makes amazing cards and those big scarves....
