Wow, good growing! I really like the coloring on the 'Anastasia', but the ones with the markings are gorgeous too!

Those are exceptional! The laelia group are some of the few from the Cattleya alliance that like my front porch. I wonder if the Anceps would be as forgiving as my other laelia types?? I kept going, oh I like that one, then i'd see the next one and decide that was my favorite....I love them all! You have a wonderful collection of that type. I may try one if one of my nurseries has them. Please share the care information for them if you would....

Stunning Lien! How many different clones do you have?

Hi Ron,

Roughly 30 or so! All coming into spike now! A couple different clones opened up before Christmas but I didn't get a chance to photograph them and now the flowers are starting to fade. There are quire a few more however that have yet to open!

L. anceps is actually a fairly easy plant to grow and tolerates a wide range of conditions. If you're able to grow other Laealias, you should have no trouble with L. anceps. They do appreciate bright light.
