such a beauty!
Hi
It's a beautiful orchid!! . The flower reminds me of the yellow Lycaste. But these I love your inflorescence racemosa, pendulum and short, emerging from the base of the pseudobulbos. Four orange blossoms.... this is the maximum number of flowers that they give.... but I see five in one of them !!!!
This is their time of flowering (march-april) mine are just beginning.
It is not common, is a rare plant, here is found only in evergreen forests of the Caribbean zone of the country. This rare orchid, small and beautiful can be recognized by their bright orange flowers and the labellum rhombic with a callus 3-toothed at the bottom half.
They smell delicious....a very mild fragrance.
Enjoy!!!!. I am very happy that you have
It's so beautiful!
Zainal ... I see many buttons..in the penultimate photo, how many?I never watched so many buttons....neither in the jungle, in their natural habitat. What have you given? what have you done? tell me your secret

Hi Ana thanks for your info, before this blooms its come out 3 flower spikes , I dont take the photos, here in Melaka Malaysia I noticed this plant very floriferous, one pseudobulb can come out 3 to 6 flower spikes probably they like the environtment here. I dont have any secret may be the pattern of fertilizer alternate between 63 and 67 here, I always sprayed fertilizer NPK ratio 63 + vit B complex, 2 days later spraying with organic fertilizer for first week than next week NPK ratio 67 + hormone. So far so good and the outcome sometimes outstanding, I hope you learn something, good luck Ana Patricia, hoping your S.suavis will give you outstanding flower spikes. For your info one spike can come out almost about 7 to 9 flowers here.... gifted he.he.he.
Congratulations.
