    I received my plant as a gift one year ago. It was a small division (wild). So it will be its first blooming

    Clint,
    I leave it outside under a yaupon holly during the summer. It gets dappled light. I'm thinking of giving it more light this year! Under flourescent in the winter! I still haven't gotten my encyclia alata to bloom in the same light and it hasn't bloomed yet for three years...huh?
