Saff! Saff! Saffy, sweetie darling! hahahahahahaa....anyway...since the thread is already hijacked..........Cindi, I love the birdies too. I have a conure that loves people but is very violent when it comes to hands being offered for a step up. You dont happen to have to deal with that with budgies do you?

Budgies will bite (and the hens can draw blood when they are serious) but not like the bigger birds! I play with them when they are 3 or 4 weeks old, before they learn they can fly away!Usually, for a show bird, you don't want them tame enough to come to the front of the show cage and visit with the judge. I am lucky if my show birds sit on a perch in the show cage instead of running laps around the floor of it!
