yeah pretty paph you've got there.
i was recently bitten by a paph bug as well, it all started with a ciliolare, and now we've
got 2 philippinense and 1 urbanianum. and still growing.
I need expert advise- this paph is in something like dirt. I was going to wait until it finish blooming to repot, but today I noticed smell and I think it needs repot immediately. Is it okay if I repot while blooming?
Hi Margo,
As someone else who has been bitten by the paph bug (I now have 18, and a year ago had zero), I've gotta say I like this. Alkthough I now have about five Maudiae types, I don't yet have an alba form and looking at yours is telling me this is something I must rectify!
Cheers,
Rob

and whilst ur at it, get a Paph philippinense (easiest multifloral Paph to grow)!![]()
ok, this is by no mean a definitive ID, however I was reading a book recently and came across a similar looking maudiae-type called Paph Claire de Lune. The reason I think this is a pretty close ID is the way the dorsal petal reflex almost the length of the dorsal on either side is reminiscent of some other pics I've seen. Also, the arrangement of the raised green spotting on the petals are also consistent with other Claire de Lune's I've seen.
anyhoo... just something to think about.... situations like this, it's really hard to get a definitive answer...
Tim, thank you sooooooo much!!! I was looking and you are so right!!!![]()
