It's been a looonnnng.......wait....! and finally the first buds started to open yesterday. Waiting for the bud to open was really exciting and I was a bit anxious too as I could expect anything. Anyways, the result is here, I'm quite happy but not so excited now, as the flowers on both plants look very similar, and the pictures my brother sent me of the other seedlings that bloomed under his care look nicer. I'll keep my fingers crossed for next time as I still have three seedlings that haven't bloomed yet.

The first picture is of an opening bud, and the second one is of the flower completely open. I'll post more pics when all the blooms are opened.

I've created a new thread with latest pictures of Phalaenopsis Noces d'Or in bloom.
I'm starting to like it more now, and I'm planning to cross it back to a standard white Phal to get more subtle hues and may be finer patterning. We'll see the result ....Eeuh.... in four, five years!
