Thanks for all the advice, gang! And all the offers to take it off my hands. LOL

I'm going to try and extricate it from the old basket without doing too much damage. There is nothing inside the basket, it has long since decomposed or fallen out as there's no bottom on this thing. A nice, new teak basket and a Superthrive cocktail seems to be answer.

Oh no, Michael, that baby is hopeless. Please sent it to me for recycling. If you really can't let go of it I agree with Ron. Cut it up and put it on a tree. That will be one division for good advice please.

I would set it in on a pot of some kind does not need mix the one in the picture was ? is ? in a 4 inch pot it is still in the center somewhere . I took a wire and ran it thru the pot hole from the top put a hook on it at the bottom so It did not pull thru and a hook at the top so it could be hung up . At one time when it was small I tried to keep it in a pot , it won ,I lost , this is the end of the bloom season for it .. Gin
