Love the purity of the white, beautiful plant as well.
I agree, these leaves asre also amazing. love it. thanks
Thank you , for looking my pics and your compliments
@ Margo
It´s a cool / intermediate grower , and not to dry but not to wet ,very simply
the blooms are identity with my other moniliforme "striped leaves ", only the leaves makes the difference
and for moniliforme collectors ,the blooms are secondary . They collect and breed them only for the color of the leaves
Hi Andrea, could you please advise how you grow this plant... I have a similar plant, ie plain leaf variety, but mine doesn't like to grow... always only up to about 10cm tall. How much light and water?
forgot to say, that I love the leaves on yours! Bee-yoo-tee-full!!!
Hi Tim
it´s a cool to intermediate grower .
In the summer in our house never more than 25 ° C ,most 20 - 22 ° C .
It must be moist in this time and it´s East -Southside , full sun till 11 o `clock .
In late autumn I let it dry out between waterings , but mine are on a slab and so I must spray all second or third days . In a pot maybe once a week or all two weeks ? Not to wet by cool temperatures the roots can rot.
The light is the same ,but you can give more if you can .
The temperatures in late autum and winter must be cooler .Than they are in my stairway with the other cool Dendros by 5 ° C to 10° C at nights .
I have seen more canes from moniliforme they are only 10 cm , in japanese pots
and the plants are blooming
I think it´s not the size , maybe it´s to warm in the winterrest
I hope it can help you
aaah, yes, thanks Andrea.. yeah our winter was quite warm this year... nearly always 19 celsius... like spring everyday, which I loved but I don't think the orchids enjoyed it too much coz no winter rest! Maybe I'll put it in the fridge next year hahaha...
love the form Andrea...I like orchids that have different variegation.
