    This orchids is really pretty and the whole plant does not seem to be very big. Is this right?

    Not too big indeed. I'd consider it a moderately sized compact one. The leaves are slender too since Brassavola nodosa is one parent. Perhaps I thought the bloom would be small because the plant was compact
