It is very undemanding, culture-wise. I would rate its temperature needs as warm to intermediate. It is found in Malaysia from the lowlands to about 5000 feet [1600 metres] elevation. It likes to climb up the branches and trunks of trees. I grow mine on a small fern root slab 15 ins high and now after 3 years it has reached the top.Time to transfer to another slab.I am sure no trouble on the window-sill.

    * Sorry, Ron no closeup of flower.
