Semi rootless Phal in Semi-hydro?

Dana, where are you growing your orchids - on the windowsill?
I'v used just similar pot like you and put all together in a bigger pot, and the pot with phal stays in the water (about 1/3 of lower part of pot with phal stays in the water).
Well, I live in the block and in winter time there is absolutely no humidity in the air, much under 40 %.

Branka,ja tek sad vidim da ste iz Slovenije! :-) ali da se vratimo na engleski, zbog drugih clanova- I also grow them on the windowsill. I don`t know what the humidity is, but I think it`s rather low, becouse of the central heating...I got this Phal from a friend who works in a hotel, and she brought it from there...So, Giovanna, repotting again...this will be it`s 4. time in 2 months...so you think a smaller pot...Well, I`ll try that as well, and that`s the last thing I`m going to try with this one, I`m slowely loosing patiens...Becouse I had never had problems with plants I buy and grow...anyway,thanks again !!!
