Phal. Sara Gold

That depends on what you are looking for and what your taste in plants are...

Personally for me, I didn't find much that interested me. There were a few species plants in the display booth of one of the collectors that interested me but none available for sale. The P. Sara Gold I got from the vendor/collector well-known for phalaenopsis. The Den bullenianum specie I got from an unlikely source - one of the small, unassuming gardeners who has a small stall in a corner niche with a lot of orchid species from Mindanao in the greenhouse area.

I didnt find anything that interests me as well.... But i did get a large phal
schileriana for a steal.... thats why we decided to go the sunday market
instead. I was even surprised because i thought that the show was gonna
be at the QC Hall....

Oh.. Went last Sunday, bought a catt labeled "NINOY AQUINO". I've read about this breed sometime ago in the newspaper, I think its a new find named in honor of Ninoy, and I presume it is a yellow one ( i just got the seedling without blooms).
Amateur grower as I am I guess I'm happy with anything that blooms..

The first 'Sara Gold' is really a nice one.. not all of these ones are so round and full.. you should be very proud, it's a beautiful plant, i'm very jealous!

For your records, the correct name should be Phal. Brother Sara Gold, and the second one should be spelled I-Hsin Butterfly.. that's if it is an I-Hsin butterfly.
