CXCanh, that is a beautiful plant and well bloomed! How long do the flowers last?
Hi Canh, another flower is now open, so I could take another picture. I hope you are now with me. It's Pteroceras simondianum, even your plants looks bigger then my.
Hi Mieczyslaw
My big plan I gave to my friend already and now I have some small one and it also going to bloom soon. I almost have no time to make photo and posting this time, Im so busy. Flower almost every where in my garden but .... I cant do anything because I have to leave home early and come back late.
It must be the climate/environment in Vietnam which appears to be so conducive to optimal orchid growth.
Perhaps if we can get some accurate readings (at different times of the day) on light intensity and length including values on temperature and humidity/dryness these could be helpful for those growing plants elsewhere and/or in a greenhouse.
Tom, will you give me an idea about the way you grow phillipinensis? I collared them into small pots with NZS and are growing I/W letting them dry a little as thats the way I grow my semiteretifolium.
intermedia temperature, shady(~1200FC), on stick mount, daily watering and good humidity.
