They are rather nice but for some reason mine did not flower this year, I think it was a very low light winter and a lot did not even try to flower
That is so cool (and lovely too)! 20 cm spur--very unique.
wow nice job!
Thanks to all of you for viewing! It has been 4 years since I potted it with coarse-grained granite and bark grains in this plastic pot. I noticed that its root grows into the neighbor pot full of broken piece of tile. That shows it like it.
I agree that roots of Angreacum don't like being disturbed. I had ever heard that a largest one here owned by an orchid farm died after repotting.
I plant them together with Dendorbium and Cattleya. Water it after it is completly dry. In winter control watering. It is not a difficult one,but need patience.
I can't wait for mine to bloom. Great growing there. Yes, I agree that most Angraecums don't like to be disturbed much. I had one Angraecum (Angraecum Lyonii) that almost died when I repotted it and it developed a top rot but it's good that it has recovered somewhat now and has stabilized. I just need to wait for it now to start growing properly again. Whew!
Unbelievable! that is one for the wish list.
The flower is perfect. The plant is practically unblemished. Wow!
