I have two spicerianums and the blooms on both of them only changed to brown as they were getting old and fading. But on this one, the older bloom has turned coppery but is not fading at all.

Hmmm, I was only disappointed at first because I thought the bloom would fall off quickly after the color change. But now that I see it's still going strong, I have to say that I like the color change. Especially since there are two blooms...it's a nice contrast. I'm definitely very happy with this purchase.
