    Thanks everyone for the nice compliments. I have another Paph Mount Toro starting to bloom as well. This one has a bit different shape, but only one of the buds is open currently. Anyway, I hope you enjoy...

    It tends to be stonei rather than philippinense ^V^

    This is because in this particular cross, stonei was the pod parent (the parent which carried the fruit and produced the seed). If the cross was reversed, it is likely that the resulting blooms would have much more of the philippinense influence. Good eye my friend!
