Very nice!! I wonder, Jeff, if fertilizer/ minerals have something to do with how 'red' the blooms can be? Maybe on the next blooming it will be more like what you were hoping for it to be. I think it is just great!

The first pictures are of Bulbophyllum jacobsonii, a species from Sumatra. The flowers of this species reach 1bout 10 to 12 cm long.
The second species is what I would consider to be Bulbophyllum plumatum, from the Philippines. The flowers of this species can be over 20 cm long.

That is really nice. I like the color. I just got a small one that was in bloom at the time. I hope I can grow it as well as you have grown yours.
