Thanks for the info...I am not familair with Rodriguezia...that is a "twig epiphyte" then?

This post of mine is actually kinda old...From July. The Lava Burst wasn't very happy after several months, and so I decided to try it in S/H (with the little expanded clay pellets). It took a month or so to adjust, then started a couple of new growths....one of which I accidentally broke. That seemed to tick it off, but after a small hiatus, it is sending another to replace it. Hopefully it will start looking happier soon!

The other two are growing bigger, and seem happy. Hopefully one or both of them will bloom this next year.

Aha - I didn't notice the datE ! Glad to hear that S/H is working for this.
