    Thanks BD.

they get lots of sun Angel, they're only shaded but a layer of black net.... but they love this place better than my main grow area which receives much more sun.... but ends up with burned leaves.

A single layer? I've never tried netting on orchids. Perhaps I should try it on strap vandas and some dends.

Yes, just a layer... I noticed that without that layer of net the leaves of the Strap Vandas
can easily be scorched... so then I placed a layer of net since 2 layers seems to be too
much for me... and boy did it make a big difference for the straps.... This gives them
lots of light without the risk of burning the leaves.

Next year I'll be replacing that net with a clear polycarbonate, which i hope will let in more
light and block the radiant heat and increase the humidity.
