Those are BOTH beauties, Jason & Remo! I gave mine to Bruce, because it's way too hot here in Texas for it to bloom. Now, I hope he can get it to bloom! LOL! Betty :-)

Cymbidiums would be on my wishlist if it wasn't for their size. Thanks for sharing!

I know where your coming from Jason with the seemingly minimal attention going to this gorgeous plants. I would have a few more than the two old pensioners I have now but its the space, an obstacle for most im sure! Your blooms are very beautiful, just imagine when mature possibly twice as many blooms per spike. Over here they are very much the Mothers Day orchid (spring) and that is one hell of a bargain at 20 bucks. Accurate currency conversion aside, the size of the specimen you have would be more than twice that in specialist/Home&Garden/Garden centers. It is more common to see the noid cyms that are a quarter of the size in 'fruit&veg' shops and supermarkets. Never a good choice!

have just removed the final spent spike from my 2 after a delightful display. Dont see the slightly hooded flowers around much anymore! With their maturity they never really take a rest and will continue watering as normal with a 30.10.10 fert up until feb/march when they go back to standard miracle grow there onwards. Had a 3 spike and a 4 spike this time around so next april/may they will reward me again with 8-10 spikes in total. True golden oldies! and fit as!

Your second pic of the inflorescence againt the deco background is first class. Great shot & focal point! quite similar to my 'raspberry cheesecake' cym, though doubtful of the name, it stuck! One year, one was potted into a clay pot and in 2 seasons broke outwards. Definetly a 2 person job at repot time even in plastic.

Hi Jason, your Cymbidium is most beautiful. I wish I could keep these Cymbidiums over here in Singapore. The only Cymbidium that I have is a Golden Elf. See the photos below. All the best for your Cymbidium growing.
