WHY cant they do stuff like that here? we only have our annual show here
I saw this rather odd looking bloom this past weekend. Someone had pre-ordered this one. It was a little pricey $35.00. Very cool looking bloom though. I was told that you can not touch these blooms or they will fade and drop within the same day? The blooms were very dark in color, almost black. Still Having Fun, Rich
There were a number of Phaius when I was i Hawaii. Some were considered weeds because they just sprouted everywhere. They were lovely. I had never experience orchids in flea markets...nor had I ever seen so many awesome Catts!
Wow, Rich! Good thing we don't have that vendor here, or I'd never get anything done on the weekends! Love the bat!
I wish we had flea markets like that around here!! Maybe Florida isn't so bad after allGood luck not buying all of them!
Rich...how creative! I never thought of turning that extra suv into a nursery! I guess if the price of gas keeps going up that might be the only decent use for one! After all you can never have enough greenhouse space! Well done! Remo
Well Remo, this vendor drives almost two hours on Saturdays and Sundays to sell their plants. They bring a van or pick-up with a cap over the bed. They have 4 large shade tents (greenhouses) at the nursery. Rich
I would have been all over the vandas. Connie and would have been tugging on both ends of the tray saying...I saw it first!

And the mokara peeking out from behind it
Wow! Thanks for sharing the great pics of all those lovely blooms. My favorite vendor is also at a flea mkt. in my area, a great little lady, and her prices are also quite reasonable for the quality of the plants. I'll try to remember a camera next time I visit!
Cheers,
Tony
Fantastic display, Rich. Thanks for sharing these with us.
