Huge Schombergkia orchid
I went to one of my local nurseries and had to show e1 the pics of this. This plant is hung nearly to the floor in an effort to keep the two huge spikes from hitting the ceiling. The ceiling is about 15 ft high, and the plant is only a foot or so off the ground (in the last photo). I am really going to have to get back there so I can get a picture or twenty of it when it is in bloom! I took a bunch of pics again that i'll post later. I also got a couple of pictures of one of the nurseries bug catchers...he was trying to be invisible next to a couple of stunning flowers.
