Connie, I agree with you about the color and form of yours. Yours is everything I hope mine will be.

I'll be watching for your pictures...i'm too impatient for the smaller plants. I admire those that grow the small babies. I have a few, but they were mostly given to me.

I looked at the other pics...I think the main difference is the way the petals "present". I have had a couple laelia crosses that would roll their petals back until it was just a thin little thing...some apparently like that while I like the more "starlike" shape. And as for the darker colors...I didn't like the latter almost orange ones. I chose this one because the colors, (with the naked eye) is very shimmery...very copperlike. The interaction of colors comes through much better with my cellphone for some reason.

Exactly I also like the star shaped flowers. The ones which you say are orange coloured are actually due to photography, I couldn't find a better link. my favourite colour would be that of valpotas night. The form and colour of your flowers is far far superior than many clones I have seen recently, I would consider it for showing.
