well it's supposed to be a blue streaked lori but it hasnt gotten the blue behind its eyes yet...wings and legs yes, but that striking blue on the head just hasnt happened yet, it's only about 8/9 months old so i guess there is still time....my mom has always kept birds so i know how to handle them but i wasnt expecting to rescue one of these myself...messy noisy nectar eaters!!!! ...any advice would be well appreciated at this point cindi!!! thanks!
I have seed eaters, never had the fun of a nectar eater! And it's messy enough cleaning up after a mostly dry diet, don't want to think what a liquid diet would produce! Good luck with the little imp!
