shriveled orchid leaves

What is causing the leaves of my orchid to become shriveled? When I purchased it in the spring at a local Orchid show the leaves were smooth. I do keep it under grow lights and on a humidity tray. This has happened with other Dendrobuims I have had and the leaves eventually turn brown and die.
