Thanks everyone for looking in and for your nice comments. It is still a small plant and I hope it will give even better blooms when it matures.
I have not faced this problem yet, but what I have surely noticed is that the flowers change color considerably. They start out red when the open, but in a few days they turn to a fiery orange, may be chocolate drop stabilizes the red. So be on a lookout for chocolate drop hybrids
I think this cattleya orchid is awesome worth to have in your collection as long as free flowering I would be happy.

Like I said Yew Sung, I'm not a big cattleya fan, but you just keep posting some of the most lovely catts I've seen. This one is gorgeous.
