Mary, NOID simply means no identification or no ID. The name of the orchid is unknown. (I won't tell you how many posts I read and places I looked before I found that out!!)

I heard that phalaenopsis schilleriana or phalaenopsis philippinensis can be grown mounted and blooms beautifully. To be honest with you, I was just thinking about getting one and grow it mounted in my Vanda house.

I am like Cathy. I am a phal killer. Actually, they do not like the light setting I have ( HID lights ). I think too much light intense.
