Yes, I agree with the Blc. Goldenzelle `Lemon Chiffon' identification. I have this orchid as well. Love the splash of color in the lip and the fragrance!!

Nice form and color. While it could possibly be some sort of Goldenzelle, I do not think it is "Lemon Chiffon" -- the colors are not rich enough and the form looks a bit off too for that.

I agree with Paul, Goldenzelle is in the parentage but the bloom looks to flat to be Lemon Chiffon.

I don not think it is Blc. Goldenzelle ''Lemon Chiffon'', the overall colour and the marking on the lip do not fit. This one has just hints of the dark color on the lip whereas the goldenzelle clones has a big blob. I think this is a direct hybrid of Rlc. Ports of Paradise, the big flower shape, the creamish green color and the distinct frilliness in the lip are all tell-tale markers for Ports of paradise. From my search I think this one very closely matches a particular clone of Blc. Dragon Jade called Blc. Dragon Jade 'TA-1'. Check it out there is only one picture if you google this name. Some one with Orchid wiz could take a quick look at Ports of paradise hybrids and tell us.

I checked the pics, some pics show just a little color on the lips so I agree with Lemon Chiffon, but it's not going anywhere, so it can remain a lemon chiffon noid. Thanks for all the help. If I could only get it to bloom more than one flower I'd really have a show stopper!!!!! Any ideas?

To join in the discussion, imo, its not Lemon Chiffon. There isn't enough color in the lip for one thing. It could be a hybrid of it though. The lip formation also shows extra as if Bc. Deese had been used with it.
