Brassidium new growth/roots

Super healthy sign of a root burst there. Thats always something us orchid growers welcome almost as a sigh of relief sometimes.. Keep them sprayed until matured. Im observing pretty much the same sight but with some laelias. I do carefully remove dry bits of bracts and sheaths as they serve the purpose as home for pests and if and when treated they will be safely tucked away out of sight, but this is just me paranoid about mite infestations.

Thanks both for the advice I'm really glad to see such growth as I was afraid I was killing this one.

Raver - it wasn't in s/h when I bought it, so whatever it's planted in will break down eventually. I haven't a clue how to get it apart without potentially harming the plant.
The good news is, that little growth turned into a couple really big ones, and the roots found they're way into the pot! Take a look:



I would still like to repot it if I can figure out how to get the old media untangled from the roots...if not, I guess I'll just put it in a bigger pot with more leca
