Now that I think of it and to confuse the issue even more all these plants are really part of the Family Liliaceae. Lilium and the ones you mentioned would be various genera within this family. Right?

LOL Bruce! Yes, it was beautiful and I'm glad you showed it to us all. My biggest complaint about daylilies is hinted at in their name--the blooms only last for one %$#*ing day!!! I don't like such ephemeral flowers. (Guess you figured out I like orchids because of the longevity of their flowers?)
