Orchids are always cultured on stryo with their varying propagation techniques (mostly seed) and whether or not they aid in supporting the plant on its multi 1000 mile journey, ive never had a dry/weak/struggling specimen and they adapt to new conditions very quickly and successfully, no probs at all. Many other formats have not been good at all and fail. I have incorporated the use of stryo/polystyrene into my own orchid care and think it may be Cathy or Connie recently has done the same.

HI Zainal, I like very much this kind of Dendrobium or even now Ceraia. I have few of them and also have a problem to find a correct name.

Hi Mietek I agree with you I got few of them still cant get the ID, never mine might be for the future someone will do further DNA investigation on this species.

Hi Matt thanks for the info. I also used styro at the bottom to encourage drainage and the pot relatively light, is good for the small species.
