Venus is very appealing, Cathy; like Bruce says, it is her eyes- caught tellingly on this photo. And is there anything lovelier than the classic pointed colouring?
Really sweet looking kitty. I'd like to see Zeus, as well sometime and Jack the manx too!
Tony
Me too actually- I've only seen a manx in a book once, ages ago.
Zeus after being coaxed out with catnip that you see in front of him. This was his first week at my house.
Jack in his normal position next to me in the office.

Venus and Zeus, what a lovely names, Venus is absolutely gorgeous!
I am a big fan of cats too and I know how great companion cat can be.
I was just visited the vet these days a few times with my 18 years old, the kidneys fail. This time we managed to beat the disease, but the prediction for the future are not promising...
Branka, I lost my 18 year old siamese, Tao to kidney failure. He grew up with my kids. The vet told me on one of my last visits, Tao will tell you when it is time for him to go. He did one Sunday morning. The vet met me in the office. The kids now grown, came with me. I still miss him. He was one of the great loves of my life.
I wish the best for your cat and you.

The name suits her...She is VERY beautiful! I hope that she, too will be "living large" soon, all over the house...Betty
Branka - I, too, lost a cat after 18+ delightful years. Even though I now have another cat I sitll miss him. They do worm their way into your heart and take up permanent space. At 18 every day is a gift, your cat will let you know when it's time to go. Enjoy the time that is left. - martha
Jack is too cute. I want to cuddle him. If he lets me- I would not want to be left in shreds lol.
