Actually while some of them were created by Andy almost all are registered to Mukoyama and in fact many of the different Kusuda crosses are from Mukoyama in Japan. It is true that Andy did originate the Kusuda Shining cross which has warm tolerance Here is one that is Kusuda Shining 'Bold One'

Cymbidiums can vary a whole lot in how long it takes for the flowers to open. Some of the warm tolerant ones with ensifolium species in their background can be rather quick to open. Golden Elf 'Sundust' spikes and opens very rapidly. Often the warm tolerant ones are rather quick since they are growing where it is warm and that speeds up the developement
