Hi Cathy my advice you better cut below the 2 healthy roots and remove the dried leaf and cover with fungicide it's seem that this will recur again and again it's always work for me.

Cathy, after you treat it, I would not wet the top part of the plant; only the roots. Because it's so humid down in Florida, ( and the rainy season is amost there ) those leaves are surely getting enough humidity around them...Good luck...let us know. Betty
