Thanks for your thoughts, It is still doing well on the stump, only lost the oldest leaf but it was already turning black and yellow when I purchased the cutting. I was thinking I could find some round cork bark but had that thought after I mounted it to the stump, I don't want to disturb it now. I am still considering letting it grow up the arbor pole but first I need to get it to start growing lol! I will be in Reading in a week or so, my second visit to England, going for work again but at least I will be there for a week instead of a day like before.

Ok, so lately I've been thinking about mounting some of my orchids. I must confess, when I mounted this orchid I did not cut off the dead roots. I took everything apart cut off the old dry roots and remounted. All the roots were dry and dead. Should I not mount this orchid and place it in bark and let the roots grow that way first? I am hoping roots will grow on this division.
