Thanks Igor for the info. Most of my pictures are taken with natural light too.
Ditto to the above....they are gorgeous blooms and the colors really stand out on those backgrounds! The apricot does work especially well. I can see a touch of the color in the flowers themselves.

What a pretty one. Love the color and form. A real beauty!
Love it! Love that long spike!
Alex
Great colors on this Cattleya. As Yew has said, very clean symetrical colors here. I am rather picky about which Cattleyas I like. These flowers are particularly fine. AL
Yes! You are right, Jason: there is a slight stain on the distal end of the petals of the lip's carmine colour. I believe this would usually be seen as a failing... but for me it is subtle and just right. (This touch of lip colour makes me wonder if some clones of this cross are fully peloric, with the petals being REALLY "lippy"...)
I am learning a lot here Al! It is really interesting for me that my feelings about this one seem to be mirrored by all you guys... so it's not just me then! You see this is one of my catts that really does give me goosebumps- and not all do! (But let's not let them know)

Lovely. The long spike displays the flowers quite well...
Beautiful orchid and orchid photography, Igor. Nice going!!
cheers,
