I wasn't sure whether or not to put this in "growing area" or not, but I decided to opt here since I have a few questions regarding the lighting and such. (Bruce, feel free to move it if you feel this thread is in the wrong spot!)

So, this is my new setup I concocted two days ago. It's my balcony, Western facing (my only option) with two layers of burlap put over the balcony barring. I know it's hard to tell from a picture, but what do you think about the light? Those are two Cattleys to the left, followed by a dendrobium and a sago palm on the right. I'm going to pot up my Vanda in lava and course bark tonight and stick it out tomorrow. (I could care less about the sago, but I may as well not kill it!) I'm probably going to remove the second layer of burlap in a couple of weeks after they become acclimated to being outdoors, so there won't be quite as much shade.
