And Ennui the leaf span isn't 24........... it's 29, not flatened out . IF I remember correctly the first span was about 18 to 20 inches when it bloomed. But it does grow quite quickly. (Think positive thoughts!!)

Oh no, I have a looong wait!
So many things to go wrong
so many ways to kill a paph.
It's always the ones that you don't ask the age of,
that are the youngest.
If I looked closer when I picked 'em out,
I probably could have seen the agar on his root.
*sigh*
On a positive note,
I think it's cute that the Hsinying cross
has hairs & a halo.
And the unfurling Bel Royal
looks like that dorsal is gonna have some nice stripes.

Well, it's nice to know I can be a temptress in some form - - even if it is only as the owner of a beautiful orchid! LOL. You get a lot of orchid shows in OZ, don't you?? Can be very dangerous to the checking account...

Well, I guess because it's too far to go anywhere else in the world, we try and make our own fun

Also, it's just that time of the year, Winter and Spring shows are all the go.. but come summer and the whole decmber fest and nulla, nil, zippo, nuthin! It's like Xmas with no Orchid Pressies... grrr...

Oh, and I am not allowed to buy anything today because I am saving all my pennies for next weekend, where there is hopefully a Bel Royal .
