Sigh* It makes me so sad that i live in Nevada and its as dry and not humid as it gets. I'm on a budget somewhat as im still young and not established so, what would you suggest me getting that could help me grow more light and humidity demanding Orchids.

Tiffany, You can check out thrift stores. They usually have humidifiers that are used and cheap. I honesty would opt for orchids that will do well in the house. Vandas get enormous. You can buy T8 fixtures pretty cheap. A wire book shelf and you should be hooked up.
