Awesome blooms!! Congrats.
mine just finished flowering... i hope i can grow mine to be as abundant as yours! any cultural tips?
Mitek, just a fabulous display. Thanks for sharing.
mitek, mine just dropped their flowers and i was wondering if it was ok to move them out of their plastic pouts and into wooden baskets or is it too soon? i understand they have a flowering season and may possibly flower again, should i wait until the winter to transfer them? thanks for your advice in advance! shane
Shane, actually my Stanhopea blooms just once a year during June, July. The flowers remain open for few days, depend on temperature. So I usually bring my plants out of my greenhouse and hang them in the trees in my garden. My flowering tigrina is now hanging on the north site of my house in an magnolia tree. There is cooler then on the south side and a little bit windy. So I hope to enjoy my flowering Stanhopea for a week. The smell is quite sweat, like honey.
I think, after your plant dropped the flowers, you can repot your plant, keep it humid ( no problem in Taiwan), cool ( for sure a big problem in Taiwan) and choise a shadowy place.

Awesome! That's a beautiful tigrina.. I love stans... Can't wait for mine to start spiking...
Mitek...I think you should share photos of your greenhouse. I would love to see them.
Cathy, I will do it, but first I have to take new pictures.
That will be GREAT! I'm looking forward to the pictures. And please make sure you photo the vandas, Mitek.
